hopes and concerns

In regards to the hopes and concerns article i agree with the fact that this is a good way to reflect on everyone elses work to not only see how to do things but also being able to see how other people feel about it.

self assesment

My self assesment towards this english class is what i would say, a little skeptical. If i said that english is not my best subject it would be a huge understatement. I always find myself trying hard to get into the assignments just because i simply hate reading. I feel that i give the assignments ample attention and do not sell them short which i feel is why i get decent grades but i definitely do not enjoy myself while doing the assignments.

spring break

Spring break... For some this is a nice fun relaxing week off. For me this was not the case. This week was one of the most hectic ones I've had this semester. The first thing that i had to do was go home for the first weekend for a family reunion, so even though it was kinda cool to see the family, this is not what a college kid wants to do on his spring break. then, when i got home i played an eighteen hole practice round on monday at the course we had a tournament at on wednesday and thursday. Then on tuesday i played a qualifying round to see who would play at what position for the team. We then played the tournament the next two days. Friday i was able to sleep in which was nice. I then went out to a few parties on friday night even though i had to get up at 6:30 in the morning on saturday to go to an alcohol class that lasted from 8 to 4 pm, and no we did not get out early. And today i had to play a practice round at a course that we will be playing a tournament at the next two days!! Wow is all i can say.

Sports Illustrated

Dear Editor:

In regards to the article “Tiger’s Goals are Larger than Ever” published Jan. 22 ’08 which is basically about the intimidation factor of Tiger’s immense confidence as the new season begins. I believe the article was a basic repeat of everything people already know about Tiger. People need to talk more about things we don’t know about Tiger. He is already an amazing story because of his sheer dominance, but to write a good article about Tiger I think you need to focus more on the stuff he does behind the scenes so to say. I think articles about Tiger’s practice routines or what he does prior to the matches would be way more interesting than what players and analysts think he is capable of achieving. Tiger’s skills and all around game perfection is amazing but I think most readers are getting bored with the lack of different topics.

In conclusion, I found myself being bored by the end of the article just because I felt like I was reading something I had previously read before. One point I could give would be to do whatever you could, even though I’m sure its tough, would be to get behind the scenes and learn things that no one else knows.
